Baseline Emissions Footprint

Starfish Space Inc. does not have operations in the UK or any UK territories; therefore, Starfish Space Inc. does not have UK emissions data and is not required to disclose non-UK emissions in this forum.

Environmental Management Measures

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented. Starfish Space Inc. will continue and enhance these measures to meet our Net Zero by 2050 commitment.

Projects include:

• Improved facility insulation / glazing: in 2024 Starfish Space installed additional window glazing / insulation at its headquarters to improve insulation.

• Public transportation commuter benefits: in 2025 Starfish Space began support for subsidized commuter payments using Seattle’s public transportation system. Today, ~20% of Starfish employees have signed up for this benefit.

• Remote work: Starfish Space has supported remote work since its founding in 2019. Employees are required to work from the headquarters building twice weekly, but Starfish otherwise supports employees working remotely 3 days per week. Most employees use this benefit.

• Supplier engagement: Starfish Space sources supplies and spacecraft components locally where practical.

• Judicious travel: Starfish Space ensures that business travel, particularly international travel, is limited to those circumstances where similar outcomes could not be achieved remotely.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Supplier engagement: Starfish Space will continue to work with vendors to reduce supply chain lengths and increase local supply sourcing. Incremental to previous efforts, Starfish will also work with its suppliers to shorten their supply chains and purchase locally where practical.

• Building HVAC optimization: Starfish Space is in the process of upgrading older, less efficient HVAC components at its headquarters. Newer components will enable for better and significantly more energy efficient climate management.

• EV chargers: Starfish Space is exploring the addition of several EV chargers in its parking lot for employees with electric vehicles.

• Product simplification: Starfish Space is actively investing in R&D to reduce its product footprint, simplify, and reduce mass. These measures directly reduce the materials needed to produce and operate Starfish’s products, directly reducing emissions necessary for Starfish services.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, given that Starfish Space has no UK or UK territorial operations. Where relevant, this report uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements for overseas suppliers with no UK or UK territorial operations, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
